This week has been quite busy for me. Last Saturday I said goodbye to nearly everybody I knew socially in Shanghai. On Sunday morning, I headed out to Shanghai Pudong airport with my all of my material crap in tow, and checked in (significant overweight baggage fee, as expected) for my flight to Beijing.

And then on Monday, I started a new job. I believe my official title is something like “Project Manager and Operations Lead” and the company is called Mindwalk Studios. No longer am I a nebulously titled employee of UUDynamics, Inc.

I’m currently living with my parents, which is certainly a change of pace, but in general, so far things are going well. I’m enjoying the new job, the new city is nice, my commute is shorter than it used to be, so clearly I am moving up in the world.

Although, now that I don’t spend approximately two hours a day commuting, I’m probably not going to have as much time to sit around and ponder amusing things to ramble on about.
