There are some fake words I have no problem with. I can only think of one at the time, however; that one is “chillax”. I have no doubt that there are a great many fake words in my vocabulary, some of which, like chillax, are simply the product of combining two other words. As I recall, there is in fact a specific word for [tag]words[/tag] created in such a manner, but I forget what it is.
“Automagically” however really bothers me. I find it upsetting to read on the Internet, I find it even more upsetting to hear somebody use the phrase in speech. I do not know why I find it so irksome, but I feel that whenever I hear people use this word, or even so much as read it, I think, “Why is this douche not simply using ‘automatically’?”
Having now written this, I wonder if people think the same of me when I say that somebody should chillax, or otherwise use the phrase.

Well, Chillax made Number 4 of words that should be words according to Merriam-Webster. Quite an achievement, I’d say.
