The title is pretty self explanatory I think. There’s a TV show called Red Dwarf, and I used to watch it when I could, because of what I saw, it was really funny. Apparently, in an episde I didn’t see, somebody refers to this sandwich. I read about it in the comments of this post about sandwiches on kottke.org.
Anyway, enough with the links. After reading about it, I thought how I had these eggs I bought a while ago that are surely getting to the point where I might start worrying about them being too old. And with that it was settled, the next day after class I stopped to buy some chutney and promptly went home and fixed myself a sandwich.
And, let me tell you, it is delicious. Maybe next time I’ll be more ambitious and attempt that sandwich Adam Sandler made in Spanglish. That too looks exceedingly delicious.

hm, had to register to leave a comment. stupid technology.
the chutney/chili sandwich was good. but g’lord was it filling. i felt it settling in my stomach like 3 hours later! or more! maybe even half the sandwich could’ve done it.. like a hot dog version with the bread folded over and with only 1 extra-large egg. mm egg frankfurter. topped with chutney and chili. dude, i actually have a really large jar of the chili garlic sauce.. larger than yours. it’s in my cabinet.. unopened. it makes good noodle dishes.
hope your stomach isn’t dying from way too much food overload (you lamb consumer..)
