So I know I should be frantically working to finish this problem set due in a few hours, but, instead I was browsing around the facebook, wasting time. What struck me was when looking at all these friends from high school, most of whom I don’t really keep in touch with any more, have apparently still very-active lives in World of Warcraft. I mean, I played for a while, had some fun, but then my interest rapidly waned.

I guess the thing that was surprising to me was that of the people who continue to play, they aren’t really the same group of people who I would have guessed as the addictive computer gaming type, but I suppose now, unlike perhaps a little while ago, there is less and less a gaming ‘type’ as computer games become ever more appealing to the mass market.

Now that I’ve typed this up it just looks dumb to me.
